MINEX Russia 2021 – COVID19 free zone

of the MINEX Russia 2021 Forum and Exhibition

Please note that the MINEX Russia 2021 forum and exhibition on 6 and 7 October will be held in the COVID-FREE format.

At the entrance to the forum, participants are required to provide a passport with a corresponding QR code, indicating either a vaccination against coronavirus (only if it was received in Russia), or a negative PCR test done no earlier than 72 hours before the start of the event, or confirming the fact of the COVID-19 disease that happened no earlier than 7 April 2021.

Based on the Decree of the Mayor of Moscow dated July 16, 2021 No. 42-UM “On Amendments to the Decree of the Mayor of Moscow No. 68-UM dated June 8, 2020”in order to attend events in the COVID-FREE format, in addition to tickets / confirmation of registration, you must also present a passport with a corresponding QR code, showing either that you have had a vaccine against coronavirus, or that you have had the virus in the last 6 months, or a negative result of a PCR test, taken no earlier than 72 hours before the start of the event. 

How can foreign citizens obtain a QR code?

Foreign citizens can get a QR code based on the results of a PCR test taken in a laboratory connected to the UMIAS system (the list of laboratories where you can take PCR tests and get a QR code is available here). A negative PCR test result gives you a QR code valid for 72 hours. 

If a foreign citizen has had COVID in Russia or has taken a PCR test in one of the laboratories connected to the UMIAS system, he can receive a QR code in a special service on the mos.ru portal using the link. 

How can Russian citizens obtain a QR code?

  1. Get vaccinated on the territory of the Russian Federation. The QR code will be sent to you via SMS and to your personal account on the gosuslugi.ru portal after the 2nd dose of the two-phase vaccine or after the single-phase vaccine.
  1. Or get a certificate with a QR code in an electronic medical record on gosuslugi.ru or mos.ru if you had been ill with COVID no more than 6 months ago.
  1. Take a PCR test in a clinic or in any laboratory connected to the EMIAS system (the list of laboratories where you can take PCR tests and get a QR code is available here). A negative PCR test result will provide you with a QR code valid for 72 hours.

If you travel to the event from the Moscow region or another city in Russia, you need to have a QR code received in your region. You can also take a PCR test in Moscow no earlier than 72 hours before the start of the event.

Decree of the Mayor of Moscow

No. 35-UM dated 22 June 2021

On 5 October forum participants will be able to take a PCR test at the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel, from 8:30 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.

All unvaccinated participants who do not already have a QR code must take the PCR test.  Those who are vaccinated may also take a test if they wish.  

Testing will be carried out by the Polymed mobile laboratory on the -1 floor of the hotel, on the site of the former Business Centre.  (Please follow the signs from the hotel’s main entrance). 

The cost of a PCR test for one person is 2,500 roubles. You can pay by cash or by credit card. 

PCR test results and the QR code will be forwarded by email 24 hours after taking the test. 

How to prepare for a PCR test: 

  • Do not eat or brush your teeth three hours before the test. 
  • It is not recommended to rinse your mouth with medicines or dissolve any medication (e.g., sore throat lozenges) one to three hours prior to the test/ 
  • Do not chew gum immediately before the test.
  • If your nose is blocked, blow it properly before the procedure.
